its all very complex and very ugly, we actually do well as a viable society in spite of ourselves..........but it is coming to an end soon unless major changes are implemented.

Our government is supposed to take care of the people in the sense of National Security, and seeing that we remain a tenable economic entity around the World so that we may enjoy and continue a certain standard of living, way of life.

Instead our government is pre occupied with taking care of themselves and their SOL, their WOL........

it forces a "everyman for himself" mentality upon us, now this is not bad for everyone, some of us thrive on that thinking......

but it does not speak well for the Nation as a whole....
IMO, JW, Russ and a few others have it nailed down, the credit "house of cards" debacle, the unemployment situation, the falling dollar, and on.....

Our government is, IMO, 100% responsible for our Manufacturing Industries being allowed to move offshore and yet bring their products back into USA without penalty, would Teddy Roosevelt have allowed this..?

Why is Ford Mo Co allowed to invest millions perhaps billions in Mexico, to build new plants to exploit cheap labor and bring those very automobils back into USA for USA buyers...........????

what bullshit....buy a Ford, put a Mexican to work or at the very least a Canadian........

what is the average price of a new house today..???....$200000 or more....

used to be a mortgage could not be obtained if said payment exceeded 1/4 or 25% of monthly income.....today.........50% is the norm......

Phil Knight laughing all the way to the bank for 20 years.....$5 bucks to make a pair of Nike tennis shoes in Sri Lanka or Indonesia that he sells here for $120.00 +....

the American people themselves cannot stop this Manufacturing shift, we need the help of our elected officials to do their jobs......

China laughing all the way to the bank also....
the only thing keeping China from becoming the dominant force in a World Economy (within 20 years) is internal strife and this appears to be under control.....
