Bzzzzzt! Wrong answer.

The system, like many other systems we know and love, doesn't necessarily "work" just because you got the result you wanted the one time it was used.

At any rate, Arnold needs to get lucky enough to have the California economy revive itself out of its stupor just in time for the next election. Then he can reelected, start a constitutional ammendment process and be Prez after defeating Hillary.

At that point in time, pigs will definitely be flying.

Gee, Californians always want to be one up on the rest of America! While the rest of the country can brag about having a moron for President, Californians can brag that they have that AND a moron for Governor as well.

So, the so-called moral giants of the GOP have turned out to be shorter than midgets. Only complete idiots cannot see this. In just one week, we had The Groper and The Doper, and all of you folks seriously backpedaling! (Watch out! Don't fall off the cliff! :-) )

Let's not forget The Gambler who wrote sanctimonious tomes like "The Book of Virtues", while truly virtuous people gave more modest titles to their books -- "The story of my experiments with truth" (Gandhi), "The best gift is love" (Mother Teresa).
