The Pledge of Allegiance? Who cares? We were all forced to say it while I was growing up and it never made any diference. Just a symbolic thing. I agree it's lame to disallow it, but let's worry about more important things. Also, why should we be forced to pledge allegiance? This is a free country. We can pledge allegiance to anything we want. Or not. The whole brouhaha really makes no sense on either side of the argument. Who cares? Pledge allegiance 100 times a day if you want. It's a free country.
