My middle boy is going to start reading Tom Sawyer in the spring as part of a class project. The teacher asked that each child pick up a copy from a book store, new or used was fine. One thing though, it had to be a copy of the original not one of the condensed versions.

I'm waiting to see how many parents throw a fit because of it.
