I was just talking about it with a friend of mine. It looks bottomy on the chart here but this is interesting. How could this inspire shareholders?

The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Sept. 25, edition that most of the directors of St. Lawrence Cement Group owned no shares when the last proxy circular was issued, including former Ontario premier Bill Davis, former Quebec premier Pierre Marc Johnson, and Hugh Segal, former chief of staff for former prime minister Brian Mulroney. The Globe's Janet McFarland writes that Agnico-Eagle Mines reported in its proxy circular that company chairman James Nasso owned no shares. He joined the board in 1986. Open Text disclosed that two of its long-serving directors had no shares, while president John Shackleton owned just 1,693 shares. Rogers Wireless Communications reported in its most recent proxy circular that, as of April 1, chief executive officer Nadir Mohamed owned no shares in his company. Mr. Mohamed joined the company in August, 2000, and became CEO in July, 2001. International Forest Products reported that its CEO Duncan Davies owned 3,500 shares as of March 1. Mr. Davies has been CEO since February, 2000. At Investors Group, eight of its board members owned 1,100 shares or less at the time of its last shareholder proxy circular.

Been watching for a while, thinking that the reason the stock was lower was the trouble at the mine and that should resolve itself and provide a great buying opportunity. But as Andrew points out the chart just sucks. The best you can say is that it is oversold and there is strong support at 15. If you like to bottom fish, you could buy near 15 with a close stop, but that is not my style.

There is one positive note that I can see it looks like the downside triangle breakout has been aborted and that could mean an end around, which could be explosive. But this is long shot.
