Competive bidding cost more and does nothing to stop dishonest people from cheating In fact it gives dishonest people far more ways to cheat. It also makes the cheating much harder to pin on anyone.

LOL just look at the big dig. Kennedy, Kerry, Kompetitive bidding saving money... ROTFLOL.

You don't ask the right question. What other company who wasn't sending it's profits to boost Cheney's option accounts could have handled the work?

It appears that the work does not help the Iraqi's anyway, most goes to building U.S. airbases, even though Saddam build plenty of airbases. It's just a scam.
