Like it or not various France, Germany, Russia, Britain and the USA have been vying for influence and control in the Mideast for almost 100 years. And still are. And that's what this is all about. Unfortunately the coalition is not bigger because to many other parties want to continue with business as usual having little interest in a free Iraq. The evidence is far from compelling that the Bush administration wishes that either.
