Russia buying oil in Euros is also a threat to Europe....

If the Euro gets pushed up another 10% or so, European exports will drop and unemployment will soar....

from your article on in the moscow times "Slowly more power and muscle is moving from the United States to the EU." whoever the guy is who said that should get to a hospital fast, because he has probably gone catatonic by now. if putin wants to shake things up he should start talking about getting yen or gold for his oil. europe already has such structural problems with its social situations and economies that more value to it currency will cause total dislocation.
