Agreed. Not only that but Arnold's views on the core conservative issues (abortion, gun control, death penalty, gays etc...) are democratic not republican.

I know quite a few people who voted for Schwarzenegger, did so because of the movie-star image. And a few even said they voted because they wanted to "shake it up" and a few went even further -- they voted for him because "it would be fun". Yes, it will be fun, but not exactly the kind of fun they are looking for.

RE: all this talk about victory for Republicans etc., why didn't the Groper run in the primaries last year? You know why! He would have got clobbered!

Also, California is not a trophy. Not because of what Gray Davis did or didn't, but because the people have passed proposition after proposition increasing funding for one thing or the other, so much so that nearly 50% of the budget is now directly mandated by the people. It was fine when times were good, but now they are not.

So the Groper gets into a job that he doesn't know a thing about, and in the same week the Doper gets outed. And the Republicans think this is a cause to celebrate?! Looks like the Doper wasn't the only one on drugs!
