Bush's tax cuts proportionally favored the middle class,
not the wealthy. Yes, the high-earners received more
absolute dollars, but they received less of a percentage.

The percentage of the budget dedicated to the military
is near an all-time low, even with Iraq. As recently
as just a few decades ago, the military was over 50%
of the federal budget. It is now only about 20% of the
federal budget. If the deficit is "mounting", you can
hardly blame it on defense spending if our historical
federal budget precedents mean anything to you.

I sometimes really think I'm a fool for working so
hard. Maybe I should just kick back all weekend,
drink a six-pack, and watch trash on cable TV all day.
Maybe then the liberals will like me?
