You are not assuming too much. >>The Gaza strip looks like a concentration camp from this vantage point.<< You said it,only "looks like" ...When labs for explosives used for blowing up busses and restaurants in Israel are built in the Gaza strip,Gaza will LOOK LIKE a concentration camp while searches are done. When murderes are planing their acts from Gaza and are hiding among civilians in Gaza,Gaza will LOOK LIKE concentration camp while searches taking place. The Fence...I think it is a mistake,but if it prevents the suicde bomber from getting thru,who knows? Mistreating others is a mistake and a sin and I will not ask u what came 1st,the Chicken or the Egg but I will tell u that: Before the Intifada started,Gaza and the West Bank were being rebuilt,electricity,schools ,hospitals etc...plenty of jobs...Then the viollence erupted due to Arafat's never ending desire to take over the ENTIRE country of Israel..preliminary deals and ofers were on the table but Arafat's "all or nothing" policy prevented any agreements and the door for the suiced bomber was opened. What do you expect Israel to do? Evacuate Israel,this is what Arafat wants. Tell the suicide bombers "Welcome"? What would u suggest we do....but give me your answer not from the safety of your living room,visualise yourself sitting in a restaurant in Israel,while on vacation,thinking whether a bomb will explode there while you having lunch with your wife and kids. One assumption must guide you:We are not evacuating our country.
