From your response I take it that a pop-up is different than a add. Yes a pop-up is different than an ad built into a Web Page. You can move, minimize and close pop-ups. A pop-up will even have an entry in the task bar. Whereas an ad built into a Web Page is an integral part of a Web Page. I just refreshed my memory and noticed SI was bought by an outfit called Investors Hub last May. Most likely the new owners added the ads to increase their income so I doubt if there is anything you can do about it. The ads built into a Web Page are not as annoying as pop-ups and after awhile one can get pretty good at not even noticing them.
