From your response I take it that a pop-up is different than a add.

Yes a pop-up is different than an ad built into a Web Page. You can move, minimize and close pop-ups. A pop-up will even have an entry in the task bar. Whereas an ad built into a Web Page is an integral part of a Web Page.

I just refreshed my memory and noticed SI was bought by an outfit called Investors Hub last May. Most likely the new owners added the ads to increase their income so I doubt if there is anything you can do about it. The ads built into a Web Page are not as annoying as pop-ups and after awhile one can get pretty good at not even noticing them.

SanDisk loses another '987 CompactFlash patent case.

Both Lexar and Ritek have beaten SNDK in court on '987.

I see this as a non-event.
