Arnold doesn't have a mandate, just an opportunity. Californians now want to give him a chance to produce and perform miracles. If he doesn't, there won't be any mandate. It may become a case where we need to let the pros handle business. But I am not going to pre-judge. Hopefully he brings the parties together and gets important things done. The jury is still out though. And this is not a time to be cheering or expect lower taxes. Not with the Bush deficits hanging over the whole country.
