This may come as news to you, Iranians and Persian Gulf Arabs do not get along well (the relationships get better the further from the Persian Gulf you go). So it should not surprise you they would not want to talk about the achievement of an Iranian, which by the way happens to be only the third person from a Muslim country to win the Nobel prize (the first being Arafat and the second Sadat). BTW, she is the first Middle Eastern woman to win the peace prize.

Much has been written about the dynamics of the cycle of hate. Sadly neither side want to read it. Consider the previous Israeli elections. Polls showed that most people agreed with Mitznah by a wide margin. They believed his policies were the way to deal with the Palestinians. And yet they voted for Sharon because he would have "punished" the Palestinians better. Now how logical is that?!
