Chris,

re:Bush ain't gonna be so happy about AHNIE....he just said that he would like to require 1/2 of ALL NEW HOMES in Caleefornya to have SOLAR PANELS for energy!

With that I would take exception, it is the Dems that would have heart burn over regular folks having Solar panels unless they can figure a way to keep their tax base going. For example here in Washington I have a well for water and pay less than $25 a year for the electricity to pump the water to my house. Seems every year the Dems are attempting to find a way to make my well illegal or somehow dangerous and force me onto city water or pay for using my own well. The Dems are the party of taxes and fees, they would have the most to loss if citizens began generating their own power. These same Dems in charge of Washington State are drawing down the water level of my lake with a city well they started a couple years ago, and will probably impact the water table for my well soon. Requiring me and my neighbors to drill deeper for a well that has functioned flawlessly for over 50 years. Most likely at that time they will not approve my permit - though not illegal, they will use the excuse for other activities "we just don't like that". Who gives a damn what you like, follow the laws.

The funny part of this party bashing is one side is characterized as supporting big business while the other would enact fees to run your own power generation - neither side appears to support citizens efforts to be self supportive.
