Legislatures screw up, you can replace them in two to four years. Judges screw up, you're stuck with them for life. And for some reason judges all live to be 90.

I prefer to go with the plan the Founders had in mind. Let the legislatures do the legislating.

It is quite obvious that it is a very tough area to legislate. And you will find that people's opinions change in a "New York Minute" when they have a Wife, daughter, or other close relative involved. When that happens, we want everyone else to "Butt out" and let it be a difficult, private decision.
