Do you understand.....Sharon is one of the most dreaded figures in Palestinian history. As a Israelis general, he oversaw the deaths of thousands of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. He was found guilty by an Israeli military tribunal. As Minister of Housing, he is the one who began the wholesale development of new settlements in the WB and Gaza. He singlehandedly created a building boom and caused the relocation of hundreds of thousands of Israelis on what was supposed to be Palestinian land. Two years ago, he went to the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalum intentionally, knowing full well that it was sacred to Muslims and they would see his visit as a defilement. In the past two years, he has publicly said on national TV that he has nothing against the Palestinians.....in fact, he grew up with them......but they can never have their own state. Palestinians despise him. He is marked for assassination. As long as he is PM and Palestinians are not free, the suicide bombings will continue. Any person looking at Sharon knows he is a very sick man both in body and mind. ted
