It already was in their constitution. Under Saddam, Iraq was the most secular state in the region.....more secular than Israel.

BTW, over the weekend, the majority Shia have declared the US's governing council to be not representative of the Iraqis and are setting up their own gov't. This should prove interesting.

I know or at least hope you're not serious - if we didn't have the legal basis to invade Iraq with 13+ resolutions I can barely understand the basis for invading Saudi. We have been rather mute about the 13 Saudi's on the planes.


I said it was the better choice but I did not mean it was a good choice. I said it only because its the House of Saudi that most upsets OBL and removing them might take some of the support for OBL by other Muslims. Having said that, I would have preferred that we not invade anyone.
