You judge others as a Pharisee as you stand there with a log in your eye. Ironic

was it i who demanded that any of you take an oath to prove your faithfulness as a christian? is it i that "require" you to answer questions to my satisfaction, as a precursor to conversing with you? was it i who rebuked another poster for frequently quoting the word of God?

i never have received an answer to my question posed earlier, which i prefaced with a please rather than an answer-or-else demand. yet i am not refusing to converse with people because i didn't get an answer to my question on my terms.
even as a newborn babe i hunger for the sincere milk of the word. i would never discourage or rebuke anyone from quoting the word of God, if done in a spirit of truth. yet that's exactly what was done here.

clearly satan's ministering spirits have been working among us here, working through some to cause strife in an attempt to distract from the light of truth found in the word of God. the pharasaical spirit of this board has been made manifest. the fact that this person admitted to using the same tactics with emile speaks volumes about their motives. if we were to search the archives would we find this individual asking all newcomers to pledge an oath before a conversation could take place? or would we find this tactic come up only with emile and myself? if only emile and i are asked by the high priest to affirm this long-winded pledge, why do you think that might be?

"but we must agree on these fundamental Biblical truths, or we have nothing more to discuss."

is the christian spirit exemplified in this statement? if i, as a christian, come across someone who clearly has a zeal for God but not according to knowledge, i would not turn him away and say we have nothing more to discuss! i would reach out to him to see if i could instruct him so that he might be sound in the faith. if you will only speak about God with those who agree with you on your terms, you aren't going to be able to reach others with the gospel of Christ!

if you think i am the one who brought this hypocritical spirit to this board, then by all means you're welcome to ignore me from hereon out.

Is Jesus God in the flesh? Yes or No?

you don't ask this of me to gain a greater understanding of the issue. you have already conclusively arrived at an answer in your own mind, and have no desire to arrive at any other conclusion. you ask this question of me for one single purpose--to provoke a disagreement and stimulate an argument so this board will be distracted from focusing on the more pertinent issues facing the body of Christ today. i never gave you or anyone else the impression that i didn't accept the plain word of God or the historical Church teaching on this or any other matter regarding the divinity or nature of Christ.

if you want an answer to your question open your bible up and read the first verse in the gospel of john and then read the fourteenth verse. therein you will find the answer.
