Sounds like he had a Doctor that didn't understand how much pain he was in. The Doctors get a lot of grief if they go high on strong drugs, and they limit patients to too little many times.

He needs enough to keep the pain down. And that may mean a ton. If so, give it to him!

I went through this with an operation in the 80s. Had two totally painful days in the Hospital that would not happen today.

I am concerned for Rush's long term well-being. I agree, CM. Sometimes with severe depression, and the combo of drugs, causes folks to just decide...."what's the use?"
