I don't know who brought it up, if anyone. But if what you are saying is true, to me it sounds like there was a good reason why the idea got ridiculed.


Sorry.....its the typical MO of the GOP.....ridicule with a dash of fear usually gets most people to back off.

BTW are you familiar with Abraham? If so, how does Christianity perceive him.....what was his role in our religion?

I'm not sure what you are referring to in that question. Certainly he was the original ancestor of the Israelites and the Palestinians (or Philistines as they were known).


So then he is a figure in the Christian faith as well, right?

The more I learn about Islam, the more I realize there are parallels between Islam and Christianity. For an example they believe in the virgin birth and while they don't believe Jesus is the son of God, they believe he is one of the most important prophets. At one point, Muhammad instructed his followers to pray in the direction of Jerusalem, and not Mecca.

Its quite fascinating!
