re:the Palestinians were screwed by the Jews and other Arabs Mainly other Arab nations - they only readopted their cause years latter. They have been rather ineffectual in creating an environment for negotiations, only recently themselves claiming Israel has a right to exist. The weak are now screwing themselves, stop the bombing and negotiate for what they desire or claim they desire. I see reasonable Palestinians on the news all the time, and zealots as well. The zealots need to be muzzled and let cooler heads do the talking or the cycle of violence will continue with no net gain. I think that's an optimistic goal that isn't likely to happen. Hamas and Arafat have a great deal of support among the Palestinians. ted
