it's hard to believe.

<font color=blue>It's been <font color=red>757<font color=blue> days since Bush said he'd catch Osama bin Laden 'Dead or Alive!'

Well there are WMD in Iraq and several links between Al Qaida and saddam have been demonstrated. So you must have a reading comprehension problem if you suggest President George W. Bush was not completely correct in making such statements.

"As yellowcake uranium was zooming in from Africa" you clearly demonstrate a reading comprehension problem. The English said saddan was trying to buy some and they still say that was the case and President correctly reported that.

when Bush said there were WMD in Iraq

Pick out the Dubya quote (hint: only one of these six quotes is from Dubya):

1. "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."

2. "We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction. ... [W]ithout question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime. ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. And now he has continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction. ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real. ..."

3. "Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors. Their purpose is to protect the national interest of the United States, and indeed the interests of people throughout the Middle East and around the world. Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons."

4. "[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions [including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites] to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."

5. "Achieving our goals will require sacrifice and time, but we will prevail. Make no mistake about that."

6. "America will never forget the sounds of our national anthem playing at Buckingham Palace, on the streets of Paris and at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate."

Yellow Cake was already in Iraq - why didn't Iraq just have the material removed and shipped out of the country for disposal?

There are links to Iraq and al Qaeda. There just isn't a direct link between Iraq and 9/11.

This fact cannot be denied: The United States was attacked on 9/11 because of our continued enforcement of UN Sanctions and the "No Fly Zone" over Iraq. It also cannot be denied, that Saddam committed genocide during the 90's and blamed the deaths on America and UN Sanctions - as did bin Laden and al Qaeda.

Why continue a policy that:
1. Resulted in 9/11
2. Resulted in the United States being blamed for someone elses genocide.

re:"So, when Bush said there were WMD in Iraq, that yellowcake uranium was zooming in from Africa and there was an Al Qaida connection with Saddam, he was just woefully ignorant?
I don't know. Many buy the stupid argument, but with the rest of his administration tightly in the evil camp, it's hard to believe"
