This rally is almost surely going to die much before Nov 2004. At best, it will rise slowly or stay flat until April/May and then get clobbered during next year's unfavorable season. This year, it got through the lean season with massive gains, but you can't expect it to repeat it next year.

Heck, even though I would vote against Shrub, I would be happy to see him win IF it were due to a strong economy. Otherwise, it's going to be a "throw the bums out" California-like election.

Heck, even though I'm not thrilled with the California election, I hope the glitz and glamour will get the state moving again. Best campaign slogan ever:
