To: Emile Vidrine who wrote (2205 ) 10/14/2003 6:50:38 PM From: SOROS Read Replies (2) | Respond to of 5569 I spent some time last night writing a response to you and brent, but I see SI had some problems and deleted everyone's postings during that time. In a nutshell, it seems to be brent who is misunderstanding the questions. We are not putting him through some strange or satanic test. We simply ask him if he firmly believes in the basic tenets of Scripture. If that offends him or anyone else, then they either do not believe them, or they get offended way too easily. The difference between brent and someone searching for God is that brent is NOT without knowledge. Therefore, since he has the knowledge, if he would then deny the basics of Christianity, I would not be interested in wasting my time with him. To say that these questions are simply a bait to have a conflict is ludicrous. If he believes them, it can't be a bait. I like riddles and fun as much as the next guy, but to be stuck in a "Jesus" complex in terms of answering questions, etc. is a little much even for me. And to simply refuse is somewhat childish. Emile, I obviously missed your post of last year. Perhaps I had you on ignore because you put me off so many times. I'd ask questions, but you would only come back with words of hatred for the current state of Israel. Be that as it may, I am sincerely interested in speaking to you and brent about end-time prophecy. I still do not know what you both believe concerning what will happen between now and Jesus Christ's Second Coming. Can you explain your viewpoint in terms of (1) is there a 7-year period called the Tribulation (2) is there any Rapture (3) Is there to be a great military battle at some point (4) will the dead in Christ rise and then those alive to go and live in Heaven forever (5) is there a 1000 year reign on earth at some point (6) where is the USA in all of this (7) does the EU have any significance (8) what is the mark of the beast? Please let me know your prophecy views. I think I get your opinion about current day Israel being evil and having nothing to do with old testament promises anymore. What does the Bible mean about "the time of Jacob's trouble?" I am NOT trying to cause conflict. I am trying to gain knowledge. Please, in simple terms, not questions, not Scripture ONLY, not parables, etc. You may use these to illustrate, but please pretend there are some here with only a grade school education, and you have to explain it to them also. Thank you in advance. I remain, SOROS
