I'm looking for my sweater. Most of the rest of the world has ag gimmies. That's one market where we aren't in the hole. But the idea that tobacco producing ground, yep you need an ok to grow it and it's worth 10 times as much as the land next to it, get's paid a payment and then the tobacco companies get sued. That's nuts.

Ag is one of the most bloated agencies in the government, and duplicates a lot of functions in other departments. One of the largest staffs, too. We could save a bundle cutting it down to size. Number of farmers in the US has shrunk, but that hasn't stopped Ag from growing.
