Sure sounds like they'll (Kurds) be screwed again. Dejà vu ? Ottomans on the winning side this go round ;o)

But seven months later, the situation has changed
Sure now they don't have to fight the powerful (wink wink ... lest my meaning be misconstrued by some) Republican Guard and get right down to the business of securing oil and correcting the Kurdish problem ..

A green light for Turkish forces to combat and defeat Iraqi Kurds if there are any attacks against Turkish supply lines in northern Iraq Wow and they'll even get US support... Smell a massacre brewing ?

I think Bush is playing with fire here..
