I'd say that the bone pain is a reminder that this is a protein ass'd with major, systemic stuff. Risk/reward will be watched very closely, and with skepticism. However..... I agree with you.

GM-CSF has been shown to enhance would healing in many models. That was my first-blush thought re. mechanism.
