Yes, unfortunately, it is mostly kids who get to take front seat in all battles. Young people tend to be more passionate, ready to fight, unburdened by familial ties and responsibilities.

You can see the trend in US soldiers who recently invaded Iraq. A LOT of them are in their late teens.
