I did get through part of that site. And I had to write this to answer Hagee's pre-trib stance to the web-site author.

I have been reading your web site on Hagee's writings. I have not been able to read all of Hagee's predictions yet. But.....I did read and and already knew that Hagee preaches pre-tribulation rapture. The problem with that interpretation is that it is not supported by scripture. The scriptures that are used are dubious at best and never clearly say there is a rapture at the beginning of the great tribulation period. It seems mostly to be wishful thinking repeated so many times that it becomes believed as "the truth". Kind of like the evening news <g>. The pre-trib rapture theory is a very American invention and has very American values. Along with name it and claim it kingdom now wealth theology. Very American, as some foreign Christians die of starvation. American Christians have somehow interpreted into the "end times" a "no suffering" clause. Suffering is very unAmerican and preaching that we will suffer does not fill Church pews and offering plates. Church economics demands that there be a happier message. All very American. That to me is the psychology behind the creation of the pre-trib rapture theory.

But it's not just that but also the spiritual deception behind it. In the last days a deluding influence will surround the world and if it were possible even the very elect would be deceived. It's a monumental intelligence coup for the devil over the entire "comfortably American" Church. The beast is here before our eyes now slowly taking control and the Church does not see it. They are not looking. Comfortably blinded. The Church is going to be appalled on the day they realize they are face to face with the beast and according to their belief they should be gone. Instead the beast will be demanding that they take his mark. The Church will be horrified as every believer has to suddenly come to grips with taking the mark or suffering for Christ. Thus the "great falling away" will occur as many are not prepared to suffer for Christ. That's not why they were at Church. And as the Word says many will say Lord Lord did we not prophecy in your name .... and so on ....and the Lord says depart from Me for I never knew you. And that's exactly it. They did not hear the Lord's voice and they followed another. What then were they doing in Church? Was it all "doctrines of demons"?

That's the very core of the Gospel, being born again and hearing the voice of Jesus. Not another. Having on the full armor of God.

I can see now the "rapture" in the Revelation of John. Pre-tribbers say the rapture occurs in Rev. Chap 4. But it doen't. Paul said we would be taken up to meet the Lord in the air at the "last trump". The last trumpet sounds in Rev. 11:15, long after Rev. 4 where the beginnings of the great tribulation start. Soon after Rev 11:15 we see the Lord come just as He describes Himself in Matthew. "Coming on the Clouds".....Rev. 14:14-20 and Matt. 24:29-31. Matthew 24:29 states "immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days" NOT "just before" as pre-tribbers believe. And in Rev. 14:14-20 we see the Lord come and "reap" his elect from the earth and then immediately the wrath of God is poured out. The saints will suffer tribulation but are not appointed to wrath. See that there is no 7 year tribulation period between the reaping and the wrath. The tribulation is over when the saints are reaped from the earth.

I feel sorry for those who are unprepared for the beast and their decision. Many will be martyred for the Lord who refuse the mark of the beast when they are taken by surprise. But also there is the Proverb, the wise man sees the evil coming and hides himself. Not all need be unprepared.
