Asked this same question with a named Democrat Bush wins.
Seems to reflect the general division of the nation until
the Democratic candidate is named, then the vote swings
to Bush. Whatever, it's still a long time until election day.

That may be wishful thinking. The market is in BULL rally phase and this bullish phase of the cyclical bear could well continue for a couple years. The real question is whether there will be a significant increase in the number of jobs.

Funny....all the polls I see show Bush's job approvals increasing and his disapprovals decreasing....especially among Dems....a very good trend for '04.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 14 — President Bush’s approval rating has rebounded from a recent near record low for his presidency following a public relations offensive, a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday showed. The poll found that 56 percent of Americans now approve of the way Bush is handling his job.
