I agree with the author of the article. It's the LA Times and the NYT that are making skin color an issue. The whole skin color issue is Stupid with a capital "S." I'm witnesssing the thick of the Louisiana governor's race, and I can tell you that Jindal's skin color is simply not an issue here in Louisiana. Period. Full stop. The Democrats, ironically, would love it to be, though. If the racist, discriminatory, homophobic, sexist, love-challenged, war-mongering GOP has fielded him as a candidate for Governor, how can skin color possibly be an issue? vbg
