Terrorists can have serious moral goals, says Williams

Both clueless and sickening. People with serious moral goals do not prefer terrorism as their strategy of choice, especially when they do have other choices and are not truly desperate. That is because people with serious moral goals value the lives of innocent civilians and don't want to kill them.

Unless Williams thinks that Osama bin Laden has "serious moral goals"? Surely it would be ethnocentric, imperialistic and generally incorrect to think that Christian values are better than those of OBL? No one can say, surely, that OBL isn't serious, or doesn't preach morality all the time - in his case, the morality of jihad against the Dar-al-Harb.

To think that is the Archbishop of Canterbury talking. UFB
