'Means Test' Deal Near On Medicare

Hi, LT, welcome aboard! They are going to be "mean" to me on medicare. A 13 1/2 % increase for next year was announced today. That will work out to about seven bucks a month, which the COLA will more than cover. I look upon the COLA as the device to cover my medicare and Kaiser yearly increase.

Seniors will really erupt if they "means test" it. That will be a tough sale. It is a "Third rail" on Medicare.

You can deal with reality or it deals with you.

Facts are facts. From a political POV, Bush had no reason to help CA after 2000. It voted against him, it had 2 Dem Senators, a largely Dem House delegation, a Dem state legislature, and a Dem governor. The governor part has now changed in a revolution.

Tell me: Do you believe no Dem President has never behaved similarly?
