He screwed the technology industry which you could say is another political move except for the devastating effect it has on the overall economy

How so?

Notice Bush is almost non-existant in Silicon Valley.

Bush made seven trips to California during the 2000 campaign, and the party spent a fortune trying to carry the state. Big Mistake. The time and money would have been better spent elsewhere.

Arnold's victory means that the Dems will now have to spend big bucks to hold the state in 2004. If Davis had stayed in office California would have been a pushover for the Democrats.

But the Bush people took it to a new level, they almost insult California every chance they get.
They do? Examples? Other than disdain for our leftist politicians, that is. Bush hardly invented that. I can't remember a President that DIDN'T slam insults at politicians from the other party on occasion.

I notice you have not refuted LindyBill's statements on this.

He screwed the technology industry which you could say is another political move except for the devastating effect it has on the overall economy.
He did? How so?

The industries Bush favors like oil and other crony type industries are not job creators.
Huh? Texas and Oklahoma do just fine when oil prices are up.

They may not be the jobs YOU want but they are jobs. You do judge EVERYTHING from your own self interest, though, so I can see why you believe this.

"crony type industries". Let's see. What does that mean? Friends help out friends? I think that's true of the human race, actually. Much likelier you'll help a friend than an enemy. Yes, even you.
