In my defense I have to tell you that: *I haven't killed any babies lately. It's not legal where I live and, to be honest, I rarely get the urge. In some strange way they appear kind of cuddly and although I think I could win a one-on-one fight with a young one that was pretty helpless, you can never be too sure; they are tricky. *Of course in a perfect world we'd reward students for something other than academic excellence. I've always thought that rewarding them for the length of their fingernails would be a good thing but a few of my liberal friends think we should reward them for the number of letters in their names. The debate rages on while we still use that archaic "how much have you learned" thing. Go figure. *Thankfully, my liberal friends no longer hire employees based on their merits. They use the Haliburton model and pick them based on their political connections to government bureaucracies. They don't get much done but they do transfer a lot of taxpayer money into private hands without having to do a lot of work. When they get enough money that way, they stop being liberals. *As far as that man and women-marriage thing. All my liberal friends can say it takes a man and a woman to make a marriage but I'm not sure they believe it. Some do cause they tend to follow the Limbaugh-Gingrich marriage model. You know; get married, find another one, get divorced and then get married again a few times. I guess the thinking is that if marriage is such a good thing, why just do it once? I'd hate to offer any criticism of an advanced thinker like yourself, but I think you forgot to add to your list of "what's wrongs;" a few like this: What's wrong with painting those who think differently as badly intentioned so that their viewpoints can be marginalized? What's wrong with living in such a whiney frenzy that humor is an afterthought and jokes have to be explained? What's wrong with buying the "evil opposition" rhetoric sold by right wing talk show hosts that are making millions of dollars by affirming the fears and hatreds of one-way thinkers? What's wrong with ignoring the lessons of the American South and Germany and world history that should have taught us where such polarized, hateful thinking ultimately leads? My own "what's wrong" list wouldn't be one you'd want to read. There might be too many nuances and complex thoughts and your head would hurt. No need for that, I'm sure your head has caused enough harm already. PS Any idea where I could go to join up with that "LIBERAL FASCIST WHINING DEMOCRAP" group you referenced? Sounds like a fun bunch of folks.
