Yes, putting a chicken in every democrap pot has caused some things to get set aside. I always like to repeat my discussion with a lady in the Azores some years ago. I wondering what the locals did for a living. When I asked that question, she replied we all work. I asked her how do they get everyone to work. Her reply was "If we don't work, we don't eat." Too bad we don't have that same line of thinking here in the U.S. Some folks who are too good to flip burgers, don't think twice about hitting the local food pantry.... They always tell me that they like to make the rounds since they can use the extra stuff for trading materials.... you know... gotta have those cigarettes and wine.....
