Failure to keep our technology moving forward - failure to sufficiently budget for the next-generation shuttle replacement - is a failure of foresight. >>> I would rather have temporary government subsidies for new technologies such as this - that can be expected to kick-start much commercial development and expand the frontiers of science - than market-distorting subsidies for commodity crops or declining 'rust-belt' industries.
