Saddam was no threat to anyone? Not Kuwait? Not after he was rolled up and forced to eat sand in 1991. Not Iran? Not after the two countries slugged for 8 years destroying each other. Not the Kurds? Not after 1991. The Kurds had autonomy and Saddam couldn't even enter the place without being bombarded for being there. Not to Israel? Not after Israel took out the reactor in the early 80's and certainly not after Saddam was forced to eat sand in 1991. Not to the Shiites? Maybe. But Dumbya didn't tell us he was attacking Iraq because Saddam posed a threat to the Shiites...
