That's not surprising. As an extremist liberal Democrat, Kennedy would obviously put his own political aspirations and party affiliation before the interests of the nation.

The interests of the nation lie in going to war with a thrird world country that presented no threat whatsoever? Or did you mean that the interest of the nation would be served in time by the third largest oil reserves in the world?

So what else is new? The fact remains that even Teddy Boy lied if Bush did.

The difference, o wise one, is Bush lied AND went to war over it. That war is costing us many lives and billions of dollars.
