Clinton created 22 million jobs. Bush has lost 3+ million.
Of course they didn't single-handedly do this, but they bear the responsibility and the praise. The blame it on 9-11 excuse has been exaggerated by the Bushies. Yes it was expensive and damaged the travel industry badly, but Bushies problem is they don't see that cutting taxes for the rich at a time of mountingf deficits, waging un-paid-for wars and spending on everything under the moon is a recipe for disaster. Bush now claims he can bring back a paltry 600 K jobs by next year. He would be much better off just hiring 6 million workers with government money because under his plan they cost the same, $500,000 per job if he creates 600 K jobs. $50,0000 per job if he just directly hires them all.
