My parents, who hated my rock music and worried about it, seemed to think something good was lost with the advent of far apart fast dancing. Social dancing went out with "The Twist" in 1959. When I do a stint as a "Dance Host" on a cruise ship, a lot of the women have not done any dancing in 20 years. The last time a lot of them danced was at a wedding. But the small minority that loves it still does it. I am about to Moped down to Coconut Willies here in Waikiki for a couple of hours of it. Hip Hop is the invention of the Devil! :>)
