Re: That's $120M operating profit and $95M net profit. (about 0.25/share, same as Intel this quarter, Hmmmmm)

They seem to be about 9 months to a year ahead of schedule in their turnaround.

It's mind boggling...

Where will they be a year from now?

Yeah, $1.1 billion in q4 revenues looks very doable given the A64 accelerating rollout and accelerating MirrorBit revenues! What's more, the accelerating rollout of A64 and accelerating MirrorBit revenue stream are likely to handily offset any negative seasonality in q1, q2 and q3. It is entirely possible that AMD could have 2 FY04 quarters where revenues exceed $1.5 billion!

With the foregoing in mind, I will use any available cash to enhance my current position while AMD remains under $20...I suspect that this window of opportunity is going to close real fast, once analysts begin to twig to the incredibly positive impact of the accelerating A64 rollout, (with their 4x revenue factor compared to k7's), on AMD revenues going forward!

Could be a stampede of buyers today now that the "New AMD" has strutted its stuff in their startlingly positive conference call...and those 12 million shorts head for the nearest exit.

30 million shares plus today? $17 to $20 at the close today?
