Good to see you back, Marcos.

Will there ever be another mine it B.C. ? I wonder if I could persuade you to comment !

Back in June DSR issued a news report;

doublestar.net

which included the following sentence;

"The draft feasibility indicates that a copper price of US $0.90 per pound will be required to begin development, on account of the strong Canadian dollar"

Back then the price of copper was ~US$.75, so $.90c copper seemed pretty remote. However the price today is ~US$.89c and people are almost unanimously calling for it to go even higher.

Your mention of AUR prompted me to write. Sustut is just a small deposit, but it seems to me that what is important is leverage.... how much copper production per $1,000 of market cap ! At current market prices Sustut alone gives DSR better leverage to copper prices than AUR has (IMHO) even if you take only the 50% of proposed production whose profits would accrue to DSR.

Do you remember our past discussions about pinching Bollinger bands. Do you see the same here ? Is someone quietly picking up shares that were distributed at the higher prices of the Spring ? (Or is this just a dog ? )

This reminds me of Highmont in a way. It had had a feasibility study whose details were never published, except that it was shelved to await higher prices. Higher prices came, but the stock continued to trade below a dollar. I phoned an analyst who said "I suppose you're right, but people like a stock that moves, and Highmont simply doesn't move !".

Ah yes my friend this good to hear from you. This board has been too quiet lately.

SWM- How about that latest run ? I got out by the skin of my teeth on the last uptick. but is it done ? And whats with Jones Gable doing all the selling.

WG- What the hell is this one all about ? Lookit the graph .
Now look at the PE ratio. Vellie strange.

TM- Nice bounce lately. I screwed up on a nice trade with it.

TK- Yah can not buy it ...but I find the thing entertaining.

GIT- One thing about this company if you wait long enough it will take a run. One of thos "AW yes be patient little grasshopper" type companys.

CPT- get the feeling we are at some kind of turning point here ?

SI-Its alive. And the direction is pretty good.

SAA- One for the guttsie swing trader.

CBD- It is basing. I think it may have a buying oppertunity by Dec if the price of gold takes adip.

XCL- I do not know what to say. It is taking too long to find something....but the financing is the key to what action to take with this one.

IWA- Never invest in a company associated with James Callaghan. a skilled investor may make some money but the guy does not deserve any financial support by the investing public. The insider trades and options says it all.

BTT- something may be up with this one. I bought some and killed it. But it has bounced back.

CQR- AM I wrong ? This one looks like it could be a profitable area play.

The "Dogs of summer " sure have not done their usual show this year....But the year aint over yet.

And thats about it. I get to lie around the house today and avoid all the work I am supposed to do. I done ate somthing that has decided to fight back <ggg>

take care
