KJC, <<CEOs Aren't Spending, So What Will Stimulate The Economic Recovery?>>

Come on, you know the answer :0)

... false hope, wishful thinking, fevered imagination, fiat liquidity, circularity of spin, bear market rally logic, manic exaltation, martial bliss, irrational exuberance, revolting protectionism, unbecoming scapegoat-ing, home refinancing, Walmart blue-lights, SUVs, ACF Mike, and 2004 beauty pageant :0)

We will simply have successive bubbles until all is turned to foam, when the liquidity is evaporated by housing implosion where buyer, seller, and financiers are badly hurt, as opposed to equity explosion and bond kabooms, where only the buyer is hurt.

Chugs, Jay

KJC, that article is a downer, but remember when Bush Sr. was Prez and the economy was not so hot? Then Clinton got elected, Al Gore invented the Internet, the Republicans took over Congress, and the economy took off.

Life moves on. People will soon be snapping up large-screen flat-panel TVs, bionic memory implants, and hybrid autos. The UN will annex the moon and auction off parcels to the highest corporate bidder, thus launching a new era of robotic space exploration and resource extraction.

In the meantime, Mq wants to auction off New Zealand and I'm sure this will stimulate the global economy quite a bit. Heck, I might even buy a piece myself.
