Clinton never pushed for the inspectors to do their work, and the most recent attempts were rebuffed by Iraqi stonewalling and intimidation.

Orca the whale of a story teller's claim that we should have "let" the inspectors do their work is founded on a wing and a prayer, not fact and reason.

The inspectors would have finished their work in a few more months.

Is Saddam still hiding the WMD? Oops...we've been able to search high and low for WMD, and still none found, even without Saddam fettering in the process. I guess we found some paperwork on a weapons program. Boy...imagine the kind of vicious paper cuts that the terrorists could inflict on America with those weapons programs papers.

By the way, if you want to find WMD, you might try taking a look over at the Pentagon. We have more WMD than anyone on the planet. Further we have WMD programs up the yazoo. More nukes than anyone on the planet, more poison gas, more nerve agent, more anthrax, more virulent viruses and more experimental military madness with a budget for getting all of this done that's more than the GDP of most nations on the planet.

While I know this probably helps you sleep at night knowing that all these WMD are waiting our beckoned call to arms, but there are a lot of people in the world that do not feel so good about them. Their uneasiness grows with a President that seems to defy the world to go to war. With a vice president who says we will rule out no weapon in the campaign in Iraq.

Sleep well grasshopper.
