Last year a good friend of mine died of breast cancer. Diagnosed at 30 years of age, dead at 32.

life is hard for most middle eastern women very little rights or freedom the United States and Europe are decades ahead in their treatment of females You think so? I know of several middle eastern women who having lived in America for more than a decade have come to the opposite conclusion. What is more, their relatives who come to visit them also came to the same conclusion. Many of them feel that (a) life is too hard in America and there is no time to enjoy it and (b) "equality" has forced women to behave (and be treated) as men even when clearly there are differences (c) American women get to have plenty of disadvantages with few if any of the advantages of being a woman and finally (d) American women don't get to be as feminine and enjoy their being a woman as they do. I am not going to debate these issues with you as there will be no point to such a debate. I am simply reporting first hand comments I have heard from several M.E. women whom I've talked to. Suffice to say there are pluses and minuses to each case. ST
