Israel could easily bomb civilian targets with no casualties to themselves

Yes, we all know that. They have demonstrated that time after time.

After terrorist attacks, selected terrorist targets are chosen

Oh for the love of God. Are you blind or willfully ignorant?

How can you have missed the tens of civilians that die every time Israel "targets a terrorist"? Kids? Their moms?

Just what kind of a "terrorist target" is the home of a family that gets bulldozed because one of their kids blew himself up without telling anyone? Is that ANY DIFFERENT than this "tribal mentality" you say sets Arabs apart from Israeli/Western mentality?

Here is your sentence:
The concept of revenge for damage to any member of the tribe to ANY member of the other group is different from the Western notion of individual responsibilty.

Where is this "notion of individual responsibility" as Israeli army razes to the ground the home of the family of a dead suicide bomber?

Can you answer straight?

Or maybe these Israeli army personnel know a bit better than you about what goes on in the occupied territories:

"We will not take part in the war for the peace of the settlements. We will not continue to fight beyond the green line [Israel's pre-1967 border with the West Bank and Gaza] in order to rule, expel, destroy, blockade, assassinate, starve and humiliate an entire people," the petition, originally published in the Yediot Aharonot newspaper on January 25, says.

Here is their website:

seruv.org.il

-We, reserve combat officers and soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces, who were raised upon the principles of Zionism, sacrifice and giving to the people of Israel and to the State of Israel, who have always served in the front lines, and who were the first to carry out any mission, light or heavy, in order to protect the State of Israel and strengthen it.

- We, combat officers and soldiers who have served the State of Israel for long weeks every year, in spite of the dear cost to our personal lives, have been on reserve duty all over the Occupied Territories, and were issued commands and directives that had nothing to do with the security of our country, and that had the sole purpose of perpetuating our control over the Palestinian people. We, whose eyes have seen the bloody toll this Occupation exacts from both sides.

- We, who sensed how the commands issued to us in the Territories, destroy all the values we had absorbed while growing up in this country.

- We, who understand now that the price of Occupation is the loss of IDF’s human character and the corruption of the entire Israeli society.

- We, who know that the Territories are not Israel, and that all settlements are bound to be evacuated in the end.
We hereby declare that we shall not continue to fight this War of the Settlements.

- We shall not continue to fight beyond the 1967 borders in order to dominate, expel, starve and humiliate an entire people.

- We hereby declare that we shall continue serving in the Israel Defense Forces in any mission that serves Israel’s defense.

The missions of occupation and oppression do not serve this purpose – and we shall take no part in them.

Oh and you can't have missed the recent declaration of the pilots who refuse to serve in the occupied territories:

rense.com

"We, both veteran and active pilots, who have served and who still serve the state of Israel, are opposed to carrying out illegal and immoral orders to attack, of the type Israel carries out in the territories," the letter states.

"We, for whom the IDF and the air force are an integral part of our being, refuse to continue to hit innocent civilians... The continued occupation is critically harming the country's security" and moral fiber, it added

So, tell us, Fred - What is it that YOU know and that Israeli pilots don't. They "refuse to continue to hit innocent civilians". How can you bring yourself to deny that Israel hits civilians as well?
