Yeah, I agree and was thinking of adding something akin to your post, but you got it done, thanks. The explanation for the low riding pants isn't one I'd heard. Interesting. I suppose there is a connection between feeling rebellious toward authority, and being in prison. We certainly were rebellious....but this is ridiculous("ridiculous" long hair seems as sensible to me as it ever did, compared to imitating jail-bird clothing). This is all very strange. Like my folks, I can't understand how these kids come to like some of this stuff. I do know that I've been informed that it's the music...many young guys are after a certain hard heavy style of sound first, lyrics being ignored. This I can understand as it reminds me of my salad days, in some cases at least(hey, I well knew a good lyric can make a song, sure). So hopefully, outside of the core inner cities, this will all prove to be as long run superficial as oldtime hippie garb. Dan B
