It sounds like there is no way to know what she actually feels. But if they have decided (over the parent's very natural objections) to let her die--because she will never live, and because she wanted to be allowed to RIP--then why not put a pleasant drug in her feeding tube?

Thanks for finding all this information for us.

What I find sad are two things.

One, nobody is finding (probably nobody CAN find) anything good that will come out of this situation. This cloud doesn't seem to have any silver lining to it at all.

Two, I'm depressed at the way idealogues on both sides of the issue are just using her for their own purposes without any care for Terri as a person at all.
